It's Giving Tuesday- Stock The Stocking!
Today is Giving Tuesday and we're launching our Stock The Stocking campaign! From November 27th to December 17th were asking our community to help fight child hunger by filling a stocking with easy to open items. The stockings go directly towards feeding children in our community and we could use your help! During the Christmas break food insecure kids will miss 20+ meals. You can help bridge that gap by stopping by one of the designated locations to pick up and drop off the stockings.

Thankful for our Volunteers and Donors
9,000 packaged food items and 5,000 fresh food items to feed 600 families over the Thanksgiving holidays. It's a busy time of year for us, and we are so grateful for all of the support to make it all possible!
A big thank you to our Thanksgiving sponsor Apex Disaster Specialists, to Grocery Outlet and Walmart for help with our holiday food orders, to Rent Gear Here for help with transportation, and to the dedicated volunteer teams from Howard Hospitality, Hilary and Reverie, Alys Beach and Escapology. We appreciate you all!

Planting In The Garden With The Sonder Project
We love partnering with the Sonder Project for a garden upgrade in Destin and planting for the winter. We have two gardens (one in Destin and the other on the Walton Academy Campus) and students in our kitchen program and volunteers help us to maintain these gardens. The vegetables we grow are used in the kitchen classes and support our seasonal programs. We're working to continue making our programs sustainable, and our gardens are helping to make this happen!
