How to Help this School Year
As we are beginning the new school year, the need is ongoing and growing; #youcanhelp! We are still utilizing volunteers to help prepare and distribute food for our curbside services, which will continue into this new school year. Each year Food For Thought provides 420,000 applesauce and fruit cups through our back-pack program!
This equates to $84,000 a year that is spent alone on this pantry staple. For this next school year, we are stocking the pantry once again, but instead of a food drive are hosting a virtual team fundraiser.
