Thank you, PrimeLending for your generous donation to help support or curbside food pick-ups in Okaloosa County this summer! We are beyond grateful for your generosity in helping support your community and fight against food insecurity. Your sponsorship will help serve so many. Thank you!
Food For Thought is preparing for another summer of food services in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.
This year will look different, because it has to. However, our commitment to fighting food insecurity remains the same. Food For Thought will now provide five pick-up locations to better serve the families in our program. Each weekly service will distribute no less than 30 food items to each family during this challenging time.
Our team has been working hard to gather information and adjust our programs in order to provide safe and impactful services. Food For Thought is taking this time day-by-day just like the rest of you, but what I do know is, FFT will show up for our community and children just as we have since 2010. Your support means so much to us; we recognize every one of us is being impacted by COVID-19.
While this is not exactly the 10 year anniversary we had planned, it is a perfect demonstration of what Food For Thought brings to our community. Thank you all for your continued support.

We are sad to say goodbye, but so grateful for having had Bennet Bastian as a program coordinator at Food for Thought for the last year! Bennet has been instrumental in leading our garden programs at Food For Thought, as well as organizing and coordinating our volunteer groups. Bennet, you will be missed, but know that you will do well in your new journey with the United States Air Force!
Wow, what a great event the Love All Tennis Tournament in Rosemary Beach event turned out to be!
A huge thank you to Hilary & Reverie Properties for organizing and sponsoring this event, as well as a thank you to the many other sponsors who donated food, time and items for the silent Auction. This sold-out event raised more than $14K for Food Thought, and we are so grateful!!
We hope that our 48 players enjoyed their day playing in the sun; it definitely was a warmer day than expected but all the players looked to be having a great time.
In addition to a full day of tennis, the auction lot did not disappoint. Thank you to the local businesses who donated for the silent auction:
- Lizard Thicket Boutique
- Sunset Helicopter Flight
- Dinner for 4 by Roux 30a
- Spa treatment from Destin Plastic Surgery
- IV treatments from Aesthetic Clinic
- Escapology Escape Rooms Destin game package,
- Dinner for 6 by Macho Taco
- (and many more items were available as well!)
Keep an eye out for the 2020 Love All Tennis Save the Date; this event will most definitely be back in 2020!
