$200K Received from Destin Charity Wine Auction!
Our hearts are so full after the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation check presentation September 4th! We are beyond grateful for the $200K that Food For Thought received from the auction...this will make a big impact on our fight against hunger for our students in Walton and Okaloosa county!
It is an honor to be among 16 deserving non-profits that all have a mission to meet needs of children throughout northwest FL, and receive a portion of the total $3MM raised at the auction this year.
Over the years, the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation has impacted over 100,000 children in Northwest FL with the money raised at the auction.

Congrats, Tiffanie! 2019 Pinnacle Award Recipient
We are all very proud of Tiffanie, Founder and CEO of Food for Thought, for being one of the 2019 recipients of the Pinnacle Award. This honor is awarded to 11 powerful and trailblazing women in Northwest Florida, selected by Rowland Publishing and 850 Magazine.
"The Pinnacle Awards program, which was suggested at its inception by Gulf Power Co., recognizes women who have distinguished themselves professionally and in service to communities." Tiffanie fits this description to a tee with all of her hard work to grow and build Food For Thought in order to fight childhood hunger in our community.
Tiffanie received this award at the 6th annual awards luncheon at the Florida State campus in Panama City, August 21st.

Back-pack Services Begin!
In-School backpack delivery begins this weekend for the 2019/20 school year! Thank you to all the volunteers and donors who have made it possible for us to deliver backpacks of food to over 3K students in our community again this year! We are fighting the battle against childhood hunger together and are pleased to know that students will be a little less hungry over the weekend.

Who’s ready to change up their Sunday Funday plans & help us in the fight to end hunger? It’s easy! Sign up for our inaugural Fight Hunger Games October 6th!
We are in search of your 6 best tributes to represent your district in the fight to end hunger. In an effort to fight the food fight, we ask you to bring your competitive selves & best ‘district spirit’ as we indulge in team games, feast on a boozy brunch & listen to live music.
We will take care of the details; all we ask is for you to show up & help us decide which district will be named VICTOR! Let the games BEGIN…!

We are sad to say goodbye, but so grateful for having had Bennet Bastian as a program coordinator at Food for Thought for the last year! Bennet has been instrumental in leading our garden programs at Food For Thought, as well as organizing and coordinating our volunteer groups. Bennet, you will be missed, but know that you will do well in your new journey with the United States Air Force!
