• Updates for the 15th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction

The team at the Destin Charity Wine Auction has been working hard to revamp this event in order to accommodate the current social distancing guidelines to still be able to hold this annual fundraising event.

This event, originally scheduled for the end of April, will now take place August 21 and 22.  The patron dinners will still take place at various locations throughout the Emerald Coast, but the auction will now be held at 5 different locations (still live) in order to not have one large gathering.

Please visit the DCWAF website in order to learn more about how the event will take place this year, and to purchase tickets:

  • Curbside Services Video

Each week, 600+ families are served at 5 locations through curbside pickups. We are grateful for our volunteers and members of our community who continue to give their time and resources when the needs in our community are not just ongoing, but growing.
We will continue to fight food insecurity.

  • Sponsor a Curbside Pick-up

This summer, Food For Thought is providing curbside food pick ups for 500-600 families twice a month, at 5 locations in Okaloosa and Walton County.

At each food service, the families will receive 30-50 food items in order for families to have enough food to make meals at home.

You as a family or business can sponsor a month of food services at one of our five locations for $1,500. You can donate online or Text to Give!

TEXT: FFTSUMMER to 44321 (Family Business recognition will be given at the curbside pick up location).

  • A Message from Tiffanie: #GivingTuesdayNow

Food For Thought is preparing for another summer of food services in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

This year will look different, because it has to. However, our commitment to fighting food insecurity remains the same. Food For Thought will now provide five pick-up locations to better serve the families in our program. Each weekly service will distribute no less than 30 food items to each family during this challenging time.

Our team has been working hard to gather information and adjust our programs in order to provide safe and impactful services. Food For Thought is taking this time day-by-day just like the rest of you, but what I do know is, FFT will show up for our community and children just as we have since 2010. Your support means so much to us; we recognize every one of us is being impacted by COVID-19.

While this is not exactly the 10 year anniversary we had planned, it is a perfect demonstration of what Food For Thought brings to our community. Thank you all for your continued support.

    Stay Well,

    Tiffanie Nelson
