Why I Help
It is important to reflect on "why I help" in whatever it is we are doing. So many reasons why we all help those in our community. We are thankful for all of those that help us at Food For Thought and are making an impact against childhood hunger. Below is a photo from our "Why I Help" wall, which we love to read why volunteers and donors are helping. It is inspiring to see!

Thank you, Katelyn Winthurst!
We love it and feel so honored when community members take it upon themselves to create their own fundraisers for Food for Thought! Katelyn Winthurst, a loan officer, is personally donating a percentage of her personal proceeds to Food For Thought, for all loans that she will close between August and October.
Thank you, Katelyn! We are very grateful for your generosity and giving back to your community!

Did you know!? Food Fact Friday #2!
Did you know, throughout the school year 12,000 snacks are provided to students per week?! That means the first month of school alone we will provide 48K snacks for teachers to have in the classroom for students that may get hungry.
Next time you are out grocery shopping, pick up an extra box of individually wrapped snacks to donate to help start the school year off strong for the FFT kids! -
