Thank you, Bubba Gump!
Volunteer Spotlight: Bubba Gump
These two employees from Bubba Gump came into the Destin Pantry on their day off to help pack backpacks! Even a group of two people from an organization, or two friends can team up to make a difference!
Bubba Gump has been a long time supporter of Food For Thought with sending volunteers and also providing backpacks from their gift shop. Thank you! -
#GivingTuesday - December 3rd
Less than a month away is #GivingTuesday! December 3rd, 2019 marks the national day of giving.
This year, our goal is to raise $6,000 in one day, which is enough to feed 200 families for Christmas (and hopefully allow for more fresh produce, bread, etc. to be included in their meals).
So mark your calendars now; #youcanhelp us reach our goal to feed 200 families! -
Fact Friday: 600 Families Served for Holidays
Did you know? In 2018, an average of 600 FAMILIES were served for each holiday meal (Thanksgiving and Christmas?!)
Through the support of our community, we were able to provide meals for at least 600 families over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.
#Youcanhelp this year too!
Contact us today to learn how you can volunteer to pack the holiday meals or donate $30 to sponsor to feed a family in need.
