Thanks to the community for your involvement and our local preschools who helped kick off our Destin Food Drive for the month of February.  We are excited to report that our food drive collected enough food items and donations to feed over 1,150 kids in March!!  Our efforts to increase awareness in Okaloosa county continue to thrive.  We need the continued mindfulness and support as we add three Okaloosa County schools and approximately 500 hungry students for the 2017-18 school year.  The Food For Thought Pantries accept donations at both locations Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-4pm.  Thank you again to our local Preschools, Blaze 103.1 and KC's Sandbar, Whole Foods, and to the community in its entirety for recognizing this need.  Click HERE for donation information.

Last weekend Blaze 103.1 partnered with KC's Sandbar in FWB to raise as much peanut butter as possible, using great live music, free beer, and amazing weather as a lure to help fight childhood hunger in our community.  Radio Personality Matt Stone encouraged listeners for over 24 hours to come and support FFT, which resulted in collecting over 1,400 jars of peanut butter and some other food items!!  They also raised over $1,000 and KC's generously donated $500 to further the success of the food drive.  Thank you KC's Sandbar and Blaze 103.1 for a successful and fun event!!
