  • 7th Annual Stock the Pantry - Virtual Fundraiser

Help Stock the Food For Thought Pantry for the 2020/21 School Year!

In light of the current state of our daily lives, we are revamping our annual Stock the Pantry Food Drive to be a virtual team-based fundraiser this year.

Instead of collecting food items, we will have this virtual fundraiser, where each team will contribute to raise money towards our goal of $150K (equivalent of 300K food items; 2019 Stock the Pantry raised 336K food items!).

This fundraiser that will run virtually from July 14 - August 22nd, will enable Food For Thought to be able to continue to provide food to families and students, as the need is ongoing and growing.

    Details:

    • 10 team spots available (5 have been filled)
    • Virtual results party will be held on August 28th (details TBD).
    • Each team will have their own unique fundraising page for this event.
    • Please reach out to: support@fftfl.org to sign up or for questions

    -----------

Food for Thought is estimating that there will be at least, 3,300 students in the "backpack" program again this year, and will be working to provide food to these children weekly so that they will have food for the weekend and not go hungry.

When the schools closed in March due to Covid-19, Food For Thought has continued to provide food to 600+ families at 5 different locations within Okaloosa and Walton counties with curbside pickups. Each week FFT has provided at least 30 -50 food items, including Fresh Produce in order to help fight the hunger gap, which has been growing due to the growth in unemployment
