We are rolling out our 7th Annual Summer Program the first week of June! Many families who rely on school meals to provide regular meals for their kids often struggle to get enough to eat during the summer months. Students in your community will miss an average of 110 meals over the Summer break from school. With your help we can feed over 350 families in need this summer!

School is out during Summer, but the fight against child hunger continues!

Kick off your Fourth of July weekend at the 7th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival, Monday, July 3rd at Destin Commons. More than 20 local restaurants and BBQ experts will compete for the prestigious People's Choice Award.  For a dollar a sample, you can cast your vote for the best BBQ on the Emerald Coast, with proceeds benefiting Food For Thought and other local charities. 

Thank you Big Red Truck for supporting our Destin Chamber After Hours with your delicious small bites and a portion of the proceeds benefitting FFT.  The delicious bites, the smiles, and the many to-go orders proved to be a success for all!!  

Please bring a friend and join us for a Member Packing Party --- new and interested members, as well as our loyal and experienced members and volunteers are welcome!!  We will pack 1,000 backpacks and have snacks and drinks, so be sure to come for a fun experience of making a huge impact on the community!!
