Join us for the sixth annual Big Green Egg Cooking Competition! This event will be held Sept. 28 at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach, celebrating the delicious results of cooking of the Big Green Egg smoker/grill. Cook teams will be smoking and grilling their favorite dishes while tasters vote for their favorites.

At Eggs on the Beach, participants taste samples from 30 cook teams, enjoy live music, Knob Creek craft cocktail tasting seminar, ENCO Sports Zone, charity drawing and more!

Proceeds benefit Food For Thought, as well as the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast.

Happy First Day of School to our students and teachers! We wanted to share this quote from a teacher of students in our program, to show how together we are helping to fight childhood hunger, and teachers are seeing a difference in their classroom. We hope that this next school year that Food For Thought will have a positive impact on the lives of students in the program, and also be able help teachers in the classroom by providing snacks to prevent hunger during the school day.

Did you know, throughout the school year 6,600 fruit cups or applesauce containers are provided to students per week?! That means the first month of shool alone we will provide 26,400 fruit or applesauce cups!

Next time you are out grocery shopping, look to see if fruit cups or applesauce cups are part of the BOGO sales and pick some up to donate to help start the school year off strong for the FFT kids!

Help us kick of the 2019/2020 School Year by Sponsoring a Student or a School for the year.  Over 3,300 students will be enrolled in our program in 33 schools within Okaloosa and Walton Counties.  By sponsoring a student or a school, you will help to support all of the in-school programs for the school year: providing a backpack, weekly meals for the backpack program and snacks for the snack program.
