Food For Thought Benefits from the 10th Annual ChiChi Miguel Throwdown
Food For Thought was one of the local charities that befitted from the generosity of the 10th Annual ChiChi Miguel Throwdown. This spirited BBQ competition brings together world class vintners, chefs, and pit masters all to help raise money for Okaloosa and Walton County children's charities.
This year, the event raised $700,000 over the course of the weekend. Food For Thought is honored to be a part of this dynamic event and is grateful for the continued generosity of the participants and the event organizers.

On September 24th from 10am-2pm the driving range at Seascape Resort will turn into an Eggsfest BBQ Competition. If you love the Big Green Egg then this is the event for you. Be a cook or a taster and enjoy grilling demonstrations, live music, cash bar with beer, wine and sodas, kids activities, and more. -
Food For Thought To Benefit From Smoke on the Coast!
Kick off your Fourth of July weekend at the 6th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival, Sunday, July 3rd at Destin Commons. More than 20 local restaurants and BBQ experts will compete for the prestigious People's Choice Award. For a dollar a sample, you can cast your vote for the best BBQ on the Emerald Coast, with proceeds benefiting Food For Thought. -

Get to know Norma the Food For Thought Delivery van at our first stock Norma event. Bring Peanut Butter and Jelly and other non-perishable snacks to the Destin Pantry on June 15th or the Santa Rosa Beach Pantry on June 28th. Harbor Hop This Sunday from 11am - 6pm!
For a $5 donation or more to Food For Thought, guests will hop to three of the harbor’s most esteemed restaurants. Each stop will include live music, food and drink specials. Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House will be the first stop from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with live music by The Rips followed by AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. with live music by Austin Jennings and finally Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with live music by Cadillac Willy.
