Students enrolled in FFT services often don't have snacks to bring to school to curb hunger throughout the day. Teachers are the first to notice when a child is incapable of completing tasks due to hunger. On average, a teacher spends nearly $500 of their own money annually on school supplies, food and other necessities to provide a better learning environment for their students.

A hungry child does not have the same chance to learn and socialize with their peers when they are struggling to meet their basics needs.  Each month we deliver 9,200 snacks to 11 schools to help teachers alleviate immediate signs of hunger in students. Over the years teachers have commented how the snacks have helped students regain focus in the classroom! We strive to expand this program into more schools to fuel more students throughout the school day.
