About Food for Thought

Founded in 2010, Food for Thought has become the go-to organization for fighting childhood hunger in Walton and Okaloosa Counties. The organization has grown to meet the ever-changing needs of the community and today provides year-round access to food for over 3,600 children in our community.

Enrollment

Our enrollment is open to students at partner schools who are eligible for a free or reduced cost lunch meal plan. Enrollment forms are included in school orientation packets that go out to every student at the beginning of the school year. We accept students into our programs at anytime during the school year.

School Waiting List

Schools reach out to us when they have a need for our services and are placed onto our waiting list. As our resources grow, we are able to move schools from the waiting list into our programs.
