You CAN Help Food Drive
Food For Thought Outreach is excited to announce our second annual “You CAN Help” Food & Membership Drive!
This year, the food drive will run during the Okaloosa and Walton counties Spring Break and we will be collecting food items and signing up new members March 19th through 23rd from 9am to 5:30pm at the Destin (908 Airport Rd.) AND Santa Rosa Beach (132 Market St.) Pantry locations.
Food For Thought will be accepting peanut butter & jelly in plastic jars, fruit cups, oatmeal packets, snacks like healthy granola bars, snack crackers, and breakfast bars, and easy to open, pop-top canned food (like soup, Chef Boyardee, veggies, tuna, and chicken).
Anyone can join the FFT Membership Program for as little as $7.50 a month and those funds go directly to feeding local students in need. If you’d like to register online, please visit fftfl.org/products/monthly-membership or fftfl.org/products/annual-membership.
We've set a goal of 16,000 food items for the You CAN Help Food Drive. This is the number of additional food items needed each month with the continued growth and we distribute over 29,000 food items each month through the backpack program alone!

7th Annual Golf Tournament April 12th
Join us for the 7th Annual Food For Thought Golf Tournament presented by 30A Cottages and Concierge at the Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club on April 12th, 2018.
Check-in starts at 11:30am with a 12:45pm shotgun start. The afternoon of golf will be followed by an Awards Reception and happy hour at the Vue on 30a presented by Escapology Destin.
Golfers can expect a great day of golf as well as special treats from tournament food and drink partners which include Pizza by the Sea,Grayton Beer Company, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and additional drinks from a beverage cart sponsored by Bay Baits. Raffle and silent auction items will be available as well!

All proceeds from the event support our work fighting childhood hunger in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

The Dish and The Spoon
Food For Thought is partnering with The Dish and the Spoon this summer to feed families in our community this summer. For every meal purchased, The Dish and The Spoon will provide 35 meals to a family in need.
